"I couldn't wait to be the guy in the equipment. As I was dirty, getting in trouble with my mom for playing with my Tonka toys, I was just practicing as a kid."Stubbs' passion for his work was palpable, and he expressed his hope that the event would inspire a new generation of city stewards. "Hopefully as they go into their teen years they'll remember, 'I want to do this equipment and help the city out,'" he said.
